▶ Our Goodwill Ambassador Simon Cassidy returns to Ukraine next week.
Simon Cassidy (see photo below) is a long-serving rail sector employee whose day job is for First Rail Consultancy. He also volunteers as Goodwill Ambassador for the Global Ukraine Rail Task Force.
▶ Last month, together with other volunteers, he set off on a gruelling 4000-kilometre / 2500-mile five-day round trip to deliver Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine.
▶ It was Simon’s tenth trip since December 2023!
The aid transported included medical supplies and lifesaving first aid equipment, warm clothing and comfort packs for frontline workers as well as food, blankets, and sleeping bags.
On 1st March, he is at it again, heading to Ukraine on yet another Humanitarian Aid trip to deliver much needed supplies to the country.
