ALLRAIL calls for a review of ERTMS
According to a joint statement from ALLRAIL, AERRL, and ERFA, the costs of deploying ETCS have become unsustainable, and the current implementation of ERTMS is jeopardising the competitiveness of the European rail sector. ALLRAIL, is calling for urgent reform to avoid a "paralysis" of the market.
Joint AERRL-ALLRAIL-ERFA Postion Paper: FRMCS as an opportunity to stop the ERTMS deployment chaos
Together with AERRL and ERFA, ALLRAIL expresses its concerns about the current ERTMS deployment strategy and urges the European Union to take the opportunity offered by the deployment of FRMCS to review and refine its approach.
We call for a clear, stable and well-coordinated deployment strategy, including the development of a new technology that would allow FRMCS to be integrated with BL3.4, ensuring long-term success and supporting the future of European rail transport.
